The comments follow the publication of the Public Accounts Committee report last week which claimed GP pay had risen while hours worked had dropped.
The RCN is seeking an urgent meeting with the BMA to call for all GPs to implement Agenda for Change for nurses and healthcare assistants.
Dr Peter Carter, chief executive and general secretary of the RCN, said: ‘GPs are hardworking and well-respected members of the general practice team, but nurses have taken on a larger proportion of the general practice workload over the past few years and the pay rises that they have received have been paltry at best.’

What about dentist's nurses?
"You should be grateful to work for us" is their attitude, and since the Dental Hygiene course became 3 years long, we can't get into that either.
